1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using the Solenery Platform, you agree to these Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) and our Privacy Policy.
2. What Solenery does
Solenery provides tools and information to help property owners explore energy upgrades and connect with independent service providers.
Solenery does not perform energy, construction, or installation services and is not a contractor, broker, or agent.
3. User eligibility and accounts
You must be legally capable of entering into a binding agreement to use the Platform. You are responsible for maintaining the accuracy and security of your account information.
4. Marketplace conduct
You agree not to:
- Misrepresent yourself, your property, or your business
- Post unlawful, misleading, or abusive content
- Interfere with the Platform’s operation or security
Solenery may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
5. Inquiries and connections
When a property owner submits an inquiry, Solenery may share the inquiry with selected service providers.
We do not guarantee responses, quotes, savings, incentives, or outcomes.
6. Estimates and informational tools
All insights, estimates, and incentive information are provided for general informational purposes only and should be verified with qualified professionals and official sources.
7. Service provider responsibilities
Service providers are solely responsible for:
- Their services and representations
- Compliance with applicable laws, licensing, and insurance requirements
- Contracts, warranties, and disputes with customers
8. Fees and payments
Any paid features, subscriptions, or fees will be clearly disclosed at the time of purchase. Payments are processed through third-party providers.
9. User content
By submitting content to the Platform, you grant Solenery a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use that content to operate and promote the Platform, subject to the Privacy Policy.
10. Intellectual property
All Solenery branding, software, and Platform content are owned by Solenery or its licensors and may not be used without permission.
11. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Solenery is not liable for indirect or consequential damages or for disputes between users. Our total liability is limited to the greater of:
- Fees paid to Solenery in the three months prior to the claim, or
- $100 CAD
12. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold Solenery harmless from claims arising out of your use of the Platform or violation of these Terms.
13. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Canada and the applicable provincial laws (to be specified).
14. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Platform means you accept the updated Terms.
