About it
The Rheem RD18AY36AJVC is the outdoor unit of a ducted cold-climate heat pump that heats and cools through your home's ductwork. NRCan lists it with matching indoor equipment, for example RH2VY3621MTACN. Manufacturer documents list R-454B refrigerant and 208-230 V. Confirm the full model numbers and matched system before purchase. A heat pump moves heat instead of burning fuel, so one system can heat and cool your home and can reduce fuel use. This outdoor unit is on NRCan's National Heat Pump Rebate eligible product list in matched systems (for example AHRI 216613162). The rebate is checked by the AHRI number of the whole matched system, and whether you qualify depends on your household, where and when it is installed, and the program rules, so confirm the exact system with your HVAC contractor.
